Camp Winslow Oysters are the next shining star of the East coast. They boast a deep cup, a rock hard shell, and a smooth buttery finish. This is a result of great water, great water circulation, an abundance of food organisms, and relatively high salinity. Camp Winslow Oysters sweet and briny flavor sets them apart from the competition in Maryland and Virginia 


Our oysters are raised in floating cages directly on the Chesapeake Bay, subject to a powerful current and a constant flow of phytoplankton. The rough waters of the bay naturally tumbles the oysters, encouraging a deep cup with larger meat and creating a more uniform shell. The salinity towards the Bay increases towards the ocean - these are not your back muddy creek oysters! 


How to describe them? A great salt taste, a wonderful texture, and a fresh, meaty taste.
